An 11-year-old cancer patient who J. Cole, The Weeknd, and Drake previously Facetimed has died this week, as Complex reports. Elijah was, fortunately, able to meet his three favorite artists prior to passing.

Elijah’s cousin recently confirmed the news via Instagram while also sharing a video from when Elijah was greeted by Cole, The Weeknd, and Drake via FaceTime. They all told Elijah have brave he was.

“Over the past 3 years, my 11 y.o. cousin, Elijah, has battled cancer with the utmost resilience. Elijah’s physical fight is now complete, as he transitioned to heaven on Friday,” wrote Watson on Instagram.

“He didn’t leave this world without knowing how much he was loved though. Last weekend, Elijah got to ‘meet’ 3 of his favorite artists—The Weeknd, J. Cole, & Drake. Incredibly grateful for these 3 super-humans being so caring for my family during this time. We’ll hold onto these moments forever.”

In the Instagram post, Watson also showed gratitude towards those who helped make the FaceTime sessions transpire in a short amount of time. He also urged people to keep their loved ones close.

“Please lift Kiara, Elijah’s mom, and the rest of the fam up in your thoughts & prayers,” Watson added. “In a time where there seems like so much is out of our control, one thing that we all have the power to give + show others is LOVE.”

Kiara Swope, Elijah’s mother also shared an emotional message on her Instagram page. She talked about how much appreciation she had for J. Cole, The Weeknd, and Drake  for “showing my baby some love these last difficult days of his life.” Elijah had also received a recorded message from Nascar champion Joey Logano.
