Perez Hilton And Many Fans Slam Madonna Over Her Bizarre Coronavirus Views
Madonna recently went on Instagram to explain her views on coronavirus and how it’s affecting the world.
While soaking in a bath with roses petals and candles, Madonna said to her followers, ” That’s the thing about COVID-19. It doesn’t care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell.” She adds, “It’s the great equalizer and what’s terrible about it is what’s great about it. What’s terrible about it is that it’s made us all equal in many ways, and what’s wonderful about is, is that it’s made us all equal in many ways.” Madonna lastly adds, “Like I used to say at the end of ‘Human Nature’ every night, if the ship goes down, we’re all going down together.”

In the comments, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton strongly disagreed with Madonna. He replied, “I love you, but this is just dumb. You come across as uneducated and painfully out of touch. The rich have more resources and access to help than an average person affected with coronavirus. They’re even getting tested in America without symptoms – even though officials say those without symptoms shouldn’t be tested. And this also affects those in densely populated areas more. That’s why this is such a moment of urgent crisis in New York City. No, not everyone is equal here, Madonna.”
Perez makes valid points as many celebrities, including Idris Elba and his wife, Drake, Kevin Durant, and even Donald Trump, were all tested for the virus without showing symptoms.
Not only did Perez Hilton slam Madonna, but many of her fans did too. One wrote, “Money will never allow us to all be equal. We have billionaires doing nothing, we have multi-millionaires singing imagine together while we all roll our eyes and wonder where is your money going to help the masses?” while another added, “You sure about that? Covid testing…the rich and famous seem to be getting tested without any issues…ahem.” Another fan made valid points, saying, “This video is stupid. We all know that you are in your own rich confinement. You live in other reality Madge. Stop it. With petals on your rich bath, oh my god. Covid19 mades distinction cause you can afford your own respiratory machine. Stop trivialize this awful situation please.”
