It’s an end of an era. After 25 seasons, Judge Judy will be ending. The show will end with its 2020-21 season. Per the Hollywood Reporter, Judy Sheindlin revealed the news on an upcoming episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, saying, “I’ve had a 25-year-long marriage with CBS, and it’s been successful. Next year will be our 25th season, silver anniversary, and CBS sort of felt, I think, they wanted to optimally utilize the repeats of my program, because now they have 25 years of reruns. So what they decided to do was to sell a couple of years’ worth of reruns.”

Judy adds that although Judge Judy is ending, but she will still be on TV. “But I’m not tired, so Judy Justice will be coming out a year later.” She did not reveal where the new show will air. Judy Sheindlin is currently the highest-paid personality on television. She earns $47 million a year. Judge Judy is one of TV’s top-ranked syndicated programs, and it is currently the most-watched court show.
