Out-of-the-Box Valentine’s Day Ideas!

Sure dinner and a movie is great… but why not switch it up a bit this year?!
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner which means the dinner reservations are being made and the movie tickets are being purchased… but if you’re looking for a not-so-typical way to spend some time with your boo I have a few suggestions:
- Axe Throwing! -Sure you may be in love, but that doesn’t mean you can’t release some aggression and have a ton of fun doing it! If this is something you’re interested in, The Broad Axe Throwing Room has you covered!
- Make your own candle! -Valentine’s Day isn’t the only time a candle-lit dinner is in order, so why not take your partner to create your own scent you can enjoy at home! If you’re looking for a fun activity with a side of romance the The Augusta Candle Company is the place for you!
- Distillery Tour! -Everyone loves a good celebratory cocktail, but not everyone knows about the process. Take a tour with your loved one and then enjoy the finished products afterward at 2nd City Distilling Co.

- Comedy Show! -There’s nothing better than sharing a good laugh with your significant other so check out what Jokers Comedy Club LOL has in store for V-Day weekend!
The fact that Valentine’s Day is on a Friday gives you the opportunity to celebrate all weekend! Chocolates and flowers are always nice, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes it’s fun to spice things up and do something not so traditional!
