The nominees for the Academy Awards were announced, and dominating the categories were Joker, Marriage Story, Little Women, and Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood. Noticeably absent from the list of nominations was Frozen 2, Beyonce and her contribution on the Lion King soundtrack, or any female directors. Also absent from the list was Jennifer Lopez or any recognition for Hustlers. This comes as a surprise as Lopez was nominated for Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and Critics Choice Awards.
