As we reported, Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough were not invited back to America’s Got Talent. Since the announcement, rumors surfaced over the two dealing with a toxic work environment on set.
Now, TMZ is reporting that Sophia Vergara has had a meeting about possibly taking one of their places. They say that Sophia “had a big audience over at NBC, from Entertainment Prez Paul Telegdy on down. There were also members of Fremantle present, which produces ‘AGT.'” They also add, “Our sources say although ‘AGT’ was top of mind, the honchos wanted to meet with Sofia on a variety of possible projects, including dramas and a possible Spanish language project — NBC owns Telemundo.”
Sophia’s hit show, Modern Family, is currently in its last season.
