In October, we reported on Amazon adding Samuel L. Jackson as one of the voice options for Alexa. Now, his voice is officially live and available to purchase.
CNN explains that anyone who wants to set up the feature needs to tell their device, “Alexa, introduce me to Samuel L. Jackson.” Afterward, Amazon will confirm the 99-cent purchase, and his voice will be activated.
Samuel’s voice can do commands like tell the weather, respond to requests, tell jokes, play music, or sing Happy Birthday. Unfortunately, Samuel will not be able to help with shopping, lists, and reminders. There is also an “explicit language” filter that can be turned off and on.
