Lady Gaga Dress Up For Auction, But May Be Stolen
For the 2019 Golden Globe Awards, Lady Gaga word a purple Valentino gown. The gown is now up for auction. The problem is the dress could be considered stolen.
TMZ is reporting that a maid from the Beverly Hilton has possession of the dress after finding it in Lady Gaga’s room after the show. The maid is saying that she turned it into lost and found, but it was never claimed. Now she is trying to cash it in and sell it.
TMZ has sources, however, that say the dress was loaded to Gaga by Valentino, and they think the dress was stolen. They are also reportedly going to the police to get the dress back.
To prove her innocence, the maid wrote a note about the incident. She explains:
“I work as a housekeeper at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. I’m always present working in the Golden Globe events on January every year for 24 years. The artist (singer) ‘Lady Gaga’ left me this dress that she used for the day of the awards. I turned in the ‘dress’ to lost and found on the 8th of January 2019. After the time legally held by lost and found they gave it to me as a gift from her and today I want to auction the dress.”
If everything goes right with the dress, it will be for sale at the Nate D. Sanders Auctions, at a starting bid of $8,000.
