Taylor Swift and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber have teamed up to create a new song for the upcoming film, Cats. The song will be titled “Beautiful Ghosts.” In a press release, it explains that the song will be sung in the movie by principal dancer Francesca Hayward, who will play Victoria. The version with Taylor Swift will be heard during the end titles.

When talking about the song, Webber says, “When I first read the screenplay, the first thing I said was, “We have to have a song for Victoria.” He also says that the song is “an incredibly important and central part of the whole film.”

Movie director Tom Hooper discussed the song and said, “What I couldn’t believe was the extraordinary beauty of these lyrics that Taylor had written. It was as if someone had come into the film I was in the middle of making and had reflected back to me a profound understanding of what we are trying to do with the movie. It was utterly thrilling.”

Cats will also feature James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, and Rebel Wilson. Cats is in theaters on December 20.
