Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was hospitalized after falling for a second time this month.

The Carter Center issued a statement via Twitter that reads, “Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter had a fall yesterday evening at his home in Plains, Ga. He has been admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for observation and treatment of a minor pelvic fracture. He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home.”

Per WFTV, President Carter suffered a fall on October 6 that resulted in a black eye and multiple stitches. The next day, however, he was in Nashville participating in a kick-off event for Habitat for Humanity.

President Carter also suffered a fall in May during a turkey hunting trip that resulted in a broken hip that required surgery.
