Lizzo Accused Of Plagiarism By Cece Peniston
Last week it was reported that two people came forward accusing Lizzo of Plagiarizing “Truth Hurts” and now she is under fire again. This time, singer Cece Peniston is accusing her of plagiarizing “Juice.”
Cece posted a video of the two songs mashed together with the caption, ” @bendaworld sent me this video and this is a clear example of #copyrightinfringement Cece Peniston versus @lizzobeating y’all check this out and btw I love her music.”

She later posted another video, writing, “This is a really sensitive issue.. I love #lizzos music and artistry, my concern is that lyrics and melody that I wrote in my song #finally are now part of her song ‘Juice’ and I would like for us to resolve this in a positive matter.”

The lyric Cece Peniston is referring to is when they both sing “ya-ya-ye, ya-ya-ye” in the choruses. In the second video she posted, it’s also brought up that she says that same thing in two other songs she has.
