Lizzo Has Boosted Beginner Flute Sales

Not only is Lizzo cool, but she is making flutes cooler too. The Flute Center of New York explains their beginner flute sales have risen 30 percent this year. “There’s definitely a resurgence and interest in the flute. Flute has become a whole new ballgame because of Lizzo.” They also add, “She empowers young performers to question how they express themselves through music because it’s not in the box anymore.”
Lizzo is known for playing her “Sasha Flute” during all her live shows. She even has an Instagram page for her instrument.
