For Pink’s 40th birthday on Sunday (Sept. 8), her husband Carey Hart posted a sweet message celebrating the woman who inspired him. Seriously, cue all the “awws.”
“Welcome to 40, baby,” he wrote. “I’ve celebrated 18 birthdays with you, and I can say it’s amazing growing up with you. The person you have grown into is inspiring.”
To show this growth, Hart shared a slideshow of the couple, who celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary this year, throughout their relationship. From their red carpet appearances to candid shots with their two kids Willow and Jameson.
“I’m so proud of the woman you have become, and you are more beautiful than ever,” he captioned the Instagram post. “You truly are like wine. You just keep getting better, and I’m so lucky to be along on this crazy ride with you.”
It’s one, he joked, that will still be going when she’s an octogenarian. “Looking forward many many more birthdays with you,” he wrote. “I can’t wait to see how nuts you and I are in our 80s.”
