Todd and Julie Chrisley are in trouble with the law, and now Chase Chrisley is too.
It hasn't been a good week for the Chrisley family. It was reported yesterday that Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie had been indicted on tax evasion charges, and now their son Chase is in trouble too.
E! News explains that Chase Chrisley is accused of owing over $16,000 in back taxes.
"The IRS filed a federal tax lien against Chase over an unpaid balance of $16,886.64 for the 2014 tax period. Additionally, the state of Georgia brought a $2,025.78 tax lien against Chase that same year. The amount was paid in full and the lien released in 2018. The documents state that Chrisley has until 2026 to pay back the federal tax lien."
Chase hasn't made an official statement about his tax woes, but he did post a picture on Instagram yesterday with the caption "F A M I L Y." Comments for the picture are turned off.
