Nicki Minaj just might be preparing for marriage.
The “Megatron” rapper and her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, reportedly recently went to a Beverly Hills courthouse and obtained a marriage license, TMZ reports.
The Queens rapper, whose given name is Onika Tanya Maraj, might be known as Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty.
Minaj and Petty have only 90 days to tie the knot, according to Vibe. However, TMZ speculated that the couple might be walking down the aisle soon, or they secretly tied the knot already.
According to TMZ, several of Nicki Minaj’s close friends flew into Los Angeles, the day after she and Petty obtained their marriage license.
The publication also speculated that the pair might get hitched this weekend because Lil Wayne, who is Minaj’s mentor, has a few days off from his Blink-182 tour, and their sources said that the New Orleans rapper has plans to be in LA over the weekend.
Nicki Minaj was also featured on Chance The Rapper’s debut album, The Big Day, where she rapped about getting married and becoming a mother.
