Woodstock 50, the anniversary festival that has seemingly been plagued by various issues since day one, has finally been called off.

Variety reports that multiple sources informed them that vendors and stakeholders were informed this morning (July 31) of the festival's cancelation. So far, no statement from Woodstock 50 organizers has been released to the public.

Six artists publicly dropped out of Woodstock 50 yesterday (July 30) including Santana, The Raconteurs, Miley Cyrus, Lumineers, Country Joe McDonald and John Sebastian. They followed the exits of Dead & Company, Jay Z and John Fogerty, who was the first artist to bow out of the festival following its third public venue change to Columbia, Maryland and the Merriweather Post Pavillion, which is about 250 miles away from the original venue site.
