Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen recently opened up about Lisa Vanderpump and the possibility for a Vanderpump Rules spin-off.

The host recently chatted with Page Six about the possibility of the popular franchise expanding to Las Vegas now that Vanderpump has opened the new Vanderpump Cocktail Garden there.

Cohen said, “it’s not a show that you can just turn cameras on in a new place. Lindsay Lohan tried to do it with the Lohan beach thing. There also needs to be some rooting interest of why all these people are there together.”

Andy explains that Vanderpump Rules is so successful because of the history of the cast. “I think what makes ‘Vanderpump Rules’ work is that those people have known each other for years and Lisa has known them for so many years.”

Lisa Vanderpump is definitely on board for a spin-off, however. Back in February, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m sure some of them [the currently cast] might want to work out there. If we get picked up for another series, I’m sure some of it will filter over there.”
