Ariana Grande says she’s still “processing a lot.”

The singer explained to fans in a now-deleted tweet why she had an emotional breakdown on stage while performing at a stop on her Sweetener tour at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Grande was performing her song REM when she reportedly broke down in tears on stage.

“I feel everything very intensely and have committed to doing this tour during a time in my life when I’m still processing a lot,” she wrote, according to multiple outlets. “So sometimes I cry a lot!”

“No matter how hard it gets or how many feelings come up that are screaming at me to be processed and sorted through one day, I’m grounded by gratitude and promise not to give up on what I’ve started,” the letter read.

Grande added that she was being open with fans “because I’m grateful and because I want you to know that if you too are hurting, you can push through and are not alone.”

It’s been a challenging few years for the singer after a suicide bomber killed 22 of her fans at her concert in Manchester back in 2017. A year later, her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died of a drug overdose. Shortly thereafter, she called off her engagement to comedian Pete Davidson.

Grande’s fans expressed concern for the singer with this most recent incident, but she has previously assured fans that she will not put herself “in harm’s way.”

I’m healing thru this experience & happy to be doing it with u by my side,” Grande tweeted a few months ago. “Sometimes we have waves of sadness! that’s okay. I’m not afraid of it.”
