Madonna’s return to the spotlight is in full swing.

After a performance at the Billboard Music Awards this week, the iconic singer is currently on the cover of British Vogue.

The photos evoke an Old Hollywood vibe, with Madonna appearing in a bathtub in full makeup and glam. The film noir-inspired shoot is accompanied by an interview, where she talks about fighting for her success as a woman in the music industry.

On Friday, Madonna also released a new song entitled “I Rise.” The single features an opening with words from Parkland shooting survivor Emma Gonzalez calling for stricter gun control.

“I’m going through it/ Yeah, I know you see the tragic in it/ Just hold on to the little bit of magic in it,” the lyrics sound. “Died a thousand times/ Managed to survive/ I can’t break down now.”
