Breaking news out of Snellville, Georgia right now as the suspect who shot and killed Antwan Toney has been found.

According to officials, Tafahree Maynard was located at a residence in Gwinnett County today.

According to WSBTV, the teen is now deceased.

Shots were fired at the time officers approached Maynard, though it is not immediately clear if Maynard injured himself or if police returned fire.

The announcement comes after police swarmed a home on Hewitt Rd.

The Gwinnett County officer was responding to a suspicious vehicle parked near a middle school in Snellville on Saturday.

As Antwan Toney approached the vehicle, he was shot through the window by one of the suspects.

Police returned fire, though it is not clear if they struck any of the suspects.

As the suspects fled the scene, another officer nearby rushed Officer Toney to the hospital.

Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries a short time later. Officer Toney was with the Gwinnett County Police Department for nearly three years before his tragic death.

Dozens of officers and SWAT members were called into the area to help locate the suspects.

The suspected vehicle crashed a short time after the shooting. It is believed they fled on foot.

Hours after the shooting, one suspect was taken into custody. It is not clear if police are still looking for two additional suspects, or if they have determined there are only two suspects.
