Two gunmen targeting Chief Keef opened fire in New York City in the early hours of Saturday morning, narrowly missing the rapper.

According to TMZ, police responded to the W Hotel after a reported shots fired call.

When they arrived, they found Chief Keef noticeably shaken but unharmed.

Police did recover a shell casing near where the reported shooting occurred.

They noted that the bullet missed striking the rapper and struck a hotel sign instead.

Authorities said the suspects are two black males who were wearing black hoodies at the time of the shooting.

Prior to the incident, Keef had been out on the town. When the shooting occurred, Keef had just returned to the hotel after a night of partying.

At this time, the suspects are still on the run.
