Just moments ago, a plane crashed near the Savannah, Georgia airport -- Near an intersection.

First responders have arrived at the scene and are assessing the damage. They have urged people to avoid the area at this time.

It is not known how many people were on board the plane at the time the crash occurred.

At least five people are believed to be dead as a result of the crash.
