The 2018 Wet Paint Party & Sale, being held February 24 7-10:30pm at the Sacred Heart Cultural Center, will feature work from nearly 70 local artists in the auction, and the Greater Augusta Arts Council is proud to announce the participants! Artists whose work will be featured in this year’s sale are listed below.
The Art Auction is just one part of what makes Wet Paint Party and Sale a one of a kind event in Augusta. Free for members of the Greater Augusta Arts Council, the Wet Paint Party not only features over local artwork for sale, it also puts a spotlight on Augusta Fashion! Vintage Ooollee, a downtown Augusta favorite, outfits models in her timeless style to match each year’s theme. This year, the party theme will be ICONIC MUSICIANS. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to join in on the costume fun, as well. There will also be hors d’oeuvres provided by Cucina 503 and music all night by DJ Andrew Serrano.
Members of the Greater Augusta Arts Council get into the Wet Paint Party and Sale free. Memberships to the Arts Council start at $35 and include a variety of benefits. Supporter level and above receive free VIP tickets to Arts in the Heart of Augusta.
