Shortly after YouTube star Logan Paul released a video showing a suicide victim hanging from a tree in Japan, police in the country said they want to question him regarding the footage he captured.
As you know, Paul faced widespread criticism for acting insensitively in the footage, and at times even laughed with his buddies. While it was reported at various times throughout the video he did tell people suicide was not the answer, his actions proved he did not take the topic seriously.
According to the Sun, an official in Japan told the publication people are not obligated to report a dead body, but because footage of the suicide was published online, authorities want to question the YouTube star.
It’s important to note that after discovering the man’s lifeless body, Paul’s group can be seen phoning authorities who did respond to the scene.
While Paul did remove the video and has since issued multiple apologizes to fans, undoubtedly people are still upset about the footage.
