Water bottles aren’t exactly Justin Bieber’s friend.

During one of the pop star’s concerts this past weekend in Sweden, a fan in the crowd hurled a water bottle in his direction, according to the Daily and Sunday Express.  The news outlet reports that Bieber told the audience that he cannot sing ‘Despacito’, a popular hit by Puerto Rican pop artist Luis Fonsi, as Spanish is not one of his strong points.

Clearly, some fans were unhappy with his decision.

This is not the first time Bieber has been hit with something while performing. The video below shows an incident from seven years ago when he was just a teenager.

Is it too late now to say sorry? Or was this just a silly way to have fun and get some laughs and reactions? What do you think?
