Miley Cyrus Calls Out Hip Hop

Miley Cyrus is back as the cover story and she’s causing a stir among the unforgiving hip-hop scene, already.

Maybe not the best move by an artist relatively recently removed from the scene with her prior 2013 album Bangerz, whose executive producer was Mike Will Make-Itwith whom she had a rumored relationship. In a Billboard cover story prior to the release of her “new sound” and single, “Malibu,” Miley made her stance on the rap game quite clear.

"I can’t listen to that anymore,” she commented about the recent trend of hip-hop, admitting that’s what really pushed her out of the genre. “It was too much ‘Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my c--k ‘—that is so not me.”

While we all remember the innocent days of Hannah Montana and her catchy country jingles, the Miley we currently recall is a little more comparable to French Montana. We’ll have to stay tuned for her next album.
